What a day. What a premiere! The gates have now closed after the very first Stora Hamndagen (Open Port Day) at the Port of Uddevalla, and we simply want to say THANK YOU!

The Swedish Maritime Administration's quarterly port statistics reveal a clear trend across Sweden's ports: fewer port calls, but more cargo. Behind these figures is a significant development — vessels are becoming larger and are able to carry more cargo with each call.
We have now made significant progress on the project to build a second track at Sörvik. Work, which began earlier this year, is progressing according to plan, and several important stages have already been completed.
The project to reinforce and renovate the approximately 400 piles beneath Frölands quay in the Port of Uddevalla has now been completed. This marks the final step in the planned refurbishment of the quay.

Construction is now underway on new railway tracks at Sörvik. Here, between the warehouses and Sörvik quay, today’s single track will be expanded into two. The new track will be laid parallel to the existing one, creating a double-track railway.
